and now what?

Never in a million years did I ever imagine myself a “homeschool mom.” I feel like I am breaking from my norm in writing like this but I think that we all need to re think things as we move forward.

I might write more later but I wanted to share some things that have been shared with me as I try and figure out how to keep my kids learning (and my own sanity) over the next few weeks.

Raddish. Raddish is giving away 10,000 FREE kits. I already love Raddish and I am not just saying that because my amazing college roommate started the company. We have loved making their recipes. They also have so many online resources for you help using cooking as a learning took. And this would be a great thing to do with your kids if you have some time on your hands. Those of you with older kids, you can just have be in charge of dinner one night…

I have tried KiwiCo yet but a friend emailed me a link they sent out of DIY Science projects. I assume many things can be found around the house.

and for now I will leave you with my favorite homemade playdough recipe. It is from I Heart Naptime. Please note that I recommend substituting coconut oil for the oil in the recipe. It makes the dough a better consistency and smell better in my opinion.

Please share any other resources you know about. We are all in this together (but socially distanced.)
